There is ALWAYS something happening at York. It seems like the Keele campus is always in some stage of construction. I've been at York for 6 years and in that time I've seen the construction of the Research Tower, Life Sciences Building, the Expansion the Subway to York University.
It's an EXCITING time to be at York since so many great changes are happening at the moment, York has recently embarked on a huge renovation of the Student Centre and York Lanes Mall.
They are planning on adding new food service locations in both buildings as well as increasing the amount of student space in both of these locations. The construction will hopefully be finished in time for the start of school in September, and honestly I can't wait to see what these new student spaces look like.
Here are some pics of the construction that's happening at the moment. These are the BEFORE pics...and I'll be back when everything's finished to take some AFTER shots so that you can see what changes have occurred!!
